I recently finished my first TPT mini unit. It is a literacy unit to accompany the book The Ugly Pumpkin, by Dave Horowitz. If you haven't read this book before, you need to; it is a November must!
The story is about an "ugly pumpkin" who does not get picked, in October, to become a Halloween pumpkin. He is so sad, but decides to set off and find a home. He finally finds a squash patch where he encounters others that are like him. Not to spoil the story, but he realizes he is a squash, not an "ugly pumpkin."
My mini unit contains literacy activities and a craftivity! Check out some of the activities:
To celebrate this month's wonderfulness, I am giving away the book The Ugly Pumpkin and my mini unit. Be sure to enter below and spread the word.
